Off Highway docs

Today, searching for some info ( wich I found ) I found some more interesting stuff that I had missed before and had laying around for a long time.
These docs are photographed out of the Ford Off-Highway Parts manual ( very interesting stuff to own )
These docs might interest the Clevor builder !

What heads fit on what body's ( whit-out machining )

Not the small block pistons but the naming might be interesting !

And last but not least... some oil cooler info, not clevor related... but awsome stuff !

Previous Video's ( MACH1 )

Over the years, I have been bussy with filming my own Mustangs ( amateur of course ).
Here are the one's that or worth watching :)
Please subscribe to my youtube to stay tuned for some more stuff !

Beginning with the best... a funny western

Second, a detail movie from the Mach1 in the first week I got it.

This one I like very much, so action and cool moves.

A few weeks before I sold my Mach1. Look at all the details !

Clevor Alternator Bracket

Clevor Alternator Brackets

Because the V shape of the Clevor engine is different from the Cleveland and Windsors the Alternator mounting is a challenge.
There are possibly 100 way's to get it right.
THIS is the way we did it. I'm not saying this is the best way, only way or the way to do it... just that this works and does the job well.
We ( Michel ) welded 2 brackets together, to lower the upper angle in place of the bolt hole on the Cleveland head.

First I sandblasted the brackets and stamped them with the letters CLEVOR

Painted in satin black

 Brackets in place
Bolt locks in the air-gap on the side and lock's in place

 Head brackets cleaned and stamped

Oil stick, also a little bended for the right attachment

Reason for rotten floor pans ( 1969 / 1970 Mustangs )

Rotten floorpans,

We "all" know that the first 2 generations of mustangs ( 1964 / 1968 ) have often problems with rotting floor pans. Main reason for this is a leaking cowl. Water cant found the way down and gets all the time to rot through the air vent.
But, the 1969 and 1970 Mustang are different. They have 2 airvents and a better protected and coated cowl.
Here are a few pictures of the cowl and the channel. [note: this pic is not perfect... but in this case its not really the best place to take pictures]

The problem is not rotting metal of the cowl and all but bad sealing of the "gasket" between the air inlet and the body. Water can find its way through the sealing and underneath the carpet. The rest seems obvious.

A new floor pan was welded in place and sealed along the sides.
The new gasket  was screwed in but also sealed in with seam sealer.
