The Space Saver tire

While stuck at my build, waiting on parts and waiting to continue building... I often search the net for rare or seldom Mustang and or Hurst parts / items like decals, racing parts, documentation or other cool stuff.
Ebay is a good cource for finding stuff and found many cool stuff over the years...
Recently I found a very cool part on a local sales website. A BF Goodrich Space Saver tire, size 7.35 x 14 in unused condition.
Am I gonna use this part in my car ? probably not. But its cool to have been hanging around.

In the mean time... stay put. Updates coming soon... REAL soon :D

    Wow Niels! I haven't seen one of those since the early 70's when I got my driver's license. It also came with a can to inflate it, that is if memory serves me well. Thanks for sharing...and I'm looking forward to some more car progress.

    Yes it did Dennis, there was a red bottle (can) of oxegyn ( if i'm write ) to inflate the tire. I came across this video, this might interest you !

      Neat video! Thanks for the link. What I thought was great about that design is that is used a standard wheel and not the funky "donut" you get today.
